Fiona Davidson

Fiona moves effortlessly between the earthy and airy elements. The ebb and flow of her voice beckon, 'Come with me on a magical, mythical journey - come if you dare...........and we are at once drawn in, mesmerised by tales of human longing and transcendent love; of Druids and fairies, nature spirits and enchantresses; of gods and goddesses, and common folk whose mortal lives are transformed upon encountering their oft long-forgotten sibling race of nature spirits.

The strains of Fiona's grass green and wheat gold harp so completely capture our hearts that soon we are scarcely aware of this world as we have already crossed over to the 'otherworldly' realm. It is said that the veil between this world and the next is thinnest during mid-winter solstice. However, on this spring night, I found myself slipping, as if through gossamer, to the other side in complete surrender to a silken voice drawing me closer.
